Nike hasn’t passed up the chance to offer their tentpole silos the same treatment as golf remasters have seemingly taken over every Air Jordan silhouette. Although the Nike Air Max 1 is always a classic, the upcoming Air Max 1 Golf “Orange/White” is particularly so because it pays homage to the original design of the shoe.
The “Total Orange” color from the original Nike Air Max 90 release is actually borrowed by this pair, which matches the color blocking of the Nike Air Max 1 “Sport Red.” Considering that the remainder of the shoe is made up of neutral shades like grey and white, aside from the highlighted shade, this version should look familiar to lovers of the brand. The main modification to get these ready for 18 holes is, of course, the cleated bottoms, but an extra branding tie is provided by a Nike Golf stamp on the insole.
As part of Nike’s SS24 collection, the Nike Air Max 1 Golf “White/Orange” is anticipated to release in the upcoming weeks. When they arrive, anticipate paying $150 at retail.
