Last night, the 49th iteration of Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI came to a spectacular close with an extravagant fashion show. The much-awaited Rahul Mishra collection was showcased in the grand finale, while in the days leading up to it, a who’s who of Bollywood stars graced the runway in stunning designer creations. The event was a celebration of fashion at its best, from Ananya Panday’s captivating presence to Aditya Roy Kapur and Janhvi Kapoor’s stylish ensembles.
“Handwoven textiles whisper tales of distant mountains, while our signature distressed denim lends edgy sophistication,” Khanna said of her collection. Perfect for a city day, the delicate dome-shaped appliqué on urban hoodie jackets reimagines the cultural richness of Bhutanese monasteries.
Dassani wore a lacy kurta-shirt with comfy pants and a shimmering jacket in a royal purple color. Hydari’s ensemble, on the other hand, consisted of a floor-sweeping cape with elaborate abstract motifs, a blouse, and flared cocktail pants.
